​Interested in starting a garden or improving the one you have? Consider taking one of the University of California Los Angeles County Master Gardeners Grow LA Gardens class series!
 
The Grow LA Gardens Initiative, a series of four-week classes offered around Los Angeles County, is a great way to learn the basics and connect with fellow gardeners.
 
Experienced UC Master Gardener volunteers lead the small classes where participants learn the ins-and-outs of soil preparation, irrigation, planting, pest management, and harvesting. In addition to learning the basics of successful gardening, participants meet other gardeners in their community and build a new network of gardening friends. They will be offering classes in-person, virtually, and a hybrid (virtual, in-person).
 
Spring classes start as early as March, with the later sessions ending in late May. There is a new site for our classes in Artesia.
